Beginning August 2020, Katherine (Kate) Anderson, Clinical Research Coordinator at the UCSD iSTRIVE Research Lab, matriculated into the PhD program in Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, ranked number five in the nation among schools of public health. While continuing her work with the iSTRIVE Lab, Kate is undertaking research with Dr. Jessica Sales on violence, HIV, and trauma-informed care, with a focus on implementation science. Kate is excited to continue the work she cares about, focusing on improving care engagement and interactions for populations at the intersection of HIV and violence. Kate previously received her MPH degree from Rollins, prior to joining the iSTRIVE team in 2018.
