Held August 30th-September 2nd, 2020, the Institute on Violence, Abuse, and Trauma’s (IVAT) 25th Annual San Diego Summit featured presentations on multiple projects from the iStrive Research Lab. Shaughanassee Vines and Katherine Anderson each led discussions of the impact of social context on women enrolled in The THRIVE Study, with emphasis on medical mistrust and law enforcement mistrust, respectively. S. Giovanna Carr and Melanie Barker collaborated on a presentation addressing lessons learned in the adaptation and implementation of The BRIDGES Project, an intervention for women living with HIV.
