Katherine (Kate) Anderson, Clinical Research Coordinator in the iStrive Research Lab and doctoral student at the Emory University Rollins School of Public Health, received a Sexual and Reproductive Health Section poster award at the 2020 American Public Health Association Meeting, themed “Creating the Healthiest Nation: Preventing Violence.” In collaboration with Dr. Jamila K. Stockman and iStrive Research Associate Alexandra Fernandez DeSoto, Ms. Anderson presented on “The impact of sexual debut experiences on sexual relationship power: Relationship control and decision-making dominance among women at-risk for HIV.”
