Judy T. Tang is currently applying to Master of Science in Nursing programs to expand her education in healthcare. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Neuroscience from the Department of Cognitive Science at the University of California, San Diego.
As part of the iSTRIVE Team, Judy was a Research Assistant wherein she worked with Dr. Jamila Stockman and Dr. Kiyomi Tsuyuki on research projects focused on violence against women, sexual and reproductive health, substance abuse, and HIV risk and also contributed to Dr. Stockman’s The THRIVE Study.
In a work-study program, Judy assisted several Principal Investigators within iSTRIVE Research Lab and the Division in HIV, gender-based violence, and substance abuse research. As an undergraduate student, she pursued her interests in neuroscience by being a Clinical Assistant at the UC San Diego Autism Center of Excellence and Clinical Operations Assistant at the UC San Diego Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study. She is currently a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant and plans to follow a career in nursing.
