Annabella NarvarteResearch Assistant

Annabella Narvarte is an undergraduate research assistant in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Global Public Health, Department of Medicine. She is a third-year undergraduate student from Stockton, CA, pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology with a minor in Global Health at the University of California, San Diego. She is currently assisting Dr. Servin on multiple projects centered on improving the sexual and reproductive health of medically underserved adolescents in  the U.S. and Mexico.

Annabella’s work with Dr. Servin leverages her passion in the promotion of health through education and preventive care among underserved populations, especially the youth. Beyond her role with the iSTRIVE Research Lab, she enjoys serving communities in need via her involvement in organizations such as Global Medical Training and Street Corner Care. She aspires to continue serving local, disadvantaged communities and their health through a career in osteopathic medicine.
