Helen Zhu (she/her) is a Research Associate and Research Program Manager in the Division of Infectious Disease and Global Health. Originally from Colorado, she graduated from UC San Diego with a B.S. in Human Biology and B.A. in Ethnic Studies. She serves as a Research Associate for Women SHINE project with Dr. Jamila K. Stockman and as the Research Program Manager for the LEAPS project with Dr. Kiyomi Tsuyuki. Helen is in the process of applying to medical school during her gap year. She hopes to use her experience with iSTRIVE to learn how to implement new care interventions as a future physician.
